New localities of 12 vascular plant species were found. Four of these species ( Amaranthus albus, Chorispora sibirica, Digitaria ishaemum, and Xanthium sibiricum ) and 2 genera (Chorispora, Digitaria) are new to the flora of Buryatia. Seven of these species have been listed in the Red Data Book of Buryatia. Aquilegia viridiflora is recommended to be included in the Red Data Book instead of A. burjatica which was recognized as its synonym.
