Long-term variability in chemical composition of subterranean water in Tomsk Oblast

We have carried out an investigation into undisturbed (by the economic activities) subterranean water of the upper hydrodynamical zone on the territory of Tomsk Oblast (Western Siberia), including a statistical verification of long-term monitoring data on the geological environment for homogeneity and randomness. The study revealed a disturbance to the homogeneity of hydrochemical series. We suggest an explanation for the changes in chemical composition of subterranean water, based on analyzing the changes in the region’s water regime.
