Reconstructing the air temperature from dendrochronological data from the Preolkhon area using the neural network method

The issue relating to the expediency of employing the neural network method in dendroclimatic reconstructions for the Baikal region is considered. The annual ring width was used in reconstructing the monthly mean air temperature at the beginning of the growing period (May) for the Preolkhon area at the Sarma weather station for the time interval 1900–1954 not covered by instrumental observations.
