Influence of the mining technogenesis on river waters

An analysis is made of migration flows of material produced by technogenic lithoaccumulations, and of the transformation of river water composition. It is established that as a result of the impact of technogenic sulfate waters with high contents of Fe, Al and As and chalcophilic metals (Zn, Cd, Cu, and Pb), ultra-fresh hydrocarbonate-calcium river waters become mineralized sulfate-calcium waters. The processes of chemogenic sedimentogenesis are responsible for a considerable deposition of metals in the composition of suspension and bottom Fe and Al sediments, yet they do not lead to the total removal of ore-genic elements from water migration.
