Influence of heterogeneity of the natural environment on permafrost dynamics

In the article, the approach is used when the occurrence, the transformation and the destruction of frozen ground are caused by the superficial condition heterogeneity. The permafrost dynamics under the influence of the external condition change is considered to be defined by a series of the local changes due to the territory structure features. The hierarchical approach includes solution of a number of problems: the heat-mass-transfer process estimation at a level of elementary micro-landscapes with homogeneous superficial conditions; the estimation of landscape heterogeneity zonation and the complex estimation of these groups of factors both for geosystems of various scales and for various time intervals.
